Some models will never support DPI due to the design.
Some is supposed to get updates with DPI, but has not been applied yet. Please pay attention to the adaptation firmware of V5.15.X.Y.
If you are already on the 5.15.X.Y firmware and the function is not available, your model does not support the DPI. Please consider a different model that does.

On the Device page, where you showed the screenshot, it is the place where you read the product information.
If you don't have the option in the settings tab, Deep Packet Inspection, then your model does not support it.

The question is beyond my range. If you are asking how to use the Omada Controller, you can use the User Guide. I cannot point out each of the tabs and what they are used for.
We don't provide a walk-through of the basic product. You can try the videos online or call technical support if you need a step-by-step walkthrough.
Version is the firmware version. Click the device you will be seeing more.

I don't have this model to test. I only have 1-2 popular and mainstream models.
From what I read from the firmware list and release notes, there is no mention of DPI for this model.
As I said, when you update to V5.15.X.Y firmware and you need to refer to the actual controller page for the functions. Some features are not written in the system.

This router has both DPI and IPS/IDS but you are probably using cloud essential and it probably does not have these features. So the solution is to upgrade to Cloud standard or switch to a self hosted Omada controller. Essential only has basic features.
